I think, as with the Spanish, they take great joy in the preparation and sharing of food, whether a banquet or a snack. They eat when they are hungry or a group of friends or family appear – it is without doubt, in my opinion, the only way to enjoy the company of others as well as some extraordinary dishes. ❤️❤️❤️
Dan, when I went to Rome a few years ago, I could not figure out the meal times. I tried to go earlier, and later to various restaurants and I could never catch them open. I’ve got Italian cookbooks and other books about Italy, but I can’t find anything that explains the meal times each day. I still wonder what they are! Very nice image, as always, and thank you for posting so much for us to enjoy :-) I hope you are doing well. Best wishes.
