We recently bought a new HP laptop, on sale at a very reasonable price, as the old Toshiba Satellite was starting to literally fall apart after long and loyal service. This has necessitated the copying of all our pictures onto memory sticks as we are uncertain as to how the ‘Cloud’ or ‘Sync’ works – In any event it has been an interesting exercise in looking through over ten thousand photographs and discovering some that were surprisingly good but had been discarded, missed or forgotten.
During this process l was looking for pictures that could be used as screen savers and wallpaper for the new laptop and found that the full screen image made some of our stuff perfect candidates. Here a few examples:-

Thanks Sherry that sounds like something l can do!!!

I like to save some of the daily images on Edge for my wallpaper. I keep a folder on OneDrive for them and point all 3 of my computer’s desktops to that folder.

Thanks. A lot of the chateaux look alike it seems and there are likely 50 whose names start with C haha

Bonjour Kt – The Chateau is Pichon-Longueville Baron in Pauillac north of Bordeaux on the left bank. They make fantastic wine but very expensive so only once in a while for us😁😁😁🍷🍷🍷❤️

Hi Sherry – Hope you and yours are keeping safe and well – Thanks for the advice – l will give it a go – Don’t have many documents but want/need to try and archive our pictures for posterity (grandkids).
L don’t know what l did but any pictures taken on our iPhone automatically appear on my Samsung tablet which is great for editing.
L will let you know how l get on with the wallpaper😊😊😊❤️

What I did to sync my screensavers on my laptop and computer was to put my folder of wallpaper images in OneDrive and point my PCs to it in Personalize (r click on desktop) backgrounds/slideshow. I also synced my documents to OneDrive. Not my photos though – too many. It’s nice to have all the files on both machines the same.
Love the chateaux.

Can you tell me what is the name of the chateau in the middle photo?
It looks like one I visited many years ago. I was sick at the time so all I remember is that it was somewhere beween Paris & the south coast and the first letter in the name was a C
