Amazing colouring, fantastic focus on the still illuminated sky trails and twilight rays of the setting sun with the contrast of the darkened foreground almost disappearing immediately before you and thus accentuating the perception of depth. Absolutely brilliant shot.
Nice image. In pondering, however, it is a little disconcerting that on a day like that, (fortunately not every day,) a good part of sky-cover (clouds) is from the jets. I too have photographed stunning days like this, and it is beautiful, like yours, but at night, one can’t help but wonder how much would it obscure an otherwise clear, star-filled sky! I tend to think, and hope it is not often, depending on the specific upper atmosphere conditions…. M :-(
