Château Bonnet sits proudly at the edge of the Gironde vineyards in the picturesque village of Grézillac to the East of Bordeaux. It is a splendid piece of architecture in it’s own right but l must pay homage to it’s gates. Although the front entrance is truly beautiful the little back gate, leading up to the mansion, is extraordinarily charming in it’s own way.

My pleasure Eliza – Mr Lurton is preserving the heritage of these beautiful buildings and has an eye on the modern – as with his chateau Rochemorin in Martillac.

After yesterday’s post, I looked up the Chateau’s history. Pretty fascinating place. Thanks for sharing these. :-)
